Applying for a Philippine visa at the Consulate will require that the applicant’s passport be valid for six (6) months beyond the applicant’s date of departure from the Philippines. The Philippine Consulate General in Barcelona will only accept electronic passports and machine readable passports for visa applications. Non-machine readable passports or hand-scripted passports will not be accepted for visa applications. The Visa Officer has the right to ask for any additional documents that may be deemed necessary.

You are allowed to enter the Philippines without a visa for a period of stay of thirty (30) days or less provided that you meet all of the requirements below:
The purpose of your stay in the Philippines is solely for business or tourism; and
You hold a valid return ticket to country of origin or next country of destination; and
Your passport is valid at least six (6) months beyond the period of stay in the Philippines; and
You are not included in the deportation or blacklist order of the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs and the Philippine Bureau of Immigration
You are allowed to enter the Philippines without a visa for a period of stay of fifty-nine (59) days or less provided that you meet all of the requirements below:
The purpose of your stay in the Philippines is solely for business or tourism; and
You hold a valid return ticket to country of origin or next country of destination; and
Your passport is valid at least six (6) months beyond the period of stay in the Philippines; and
You are not included in the deportation or blacklist order of the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs and the Philippine Bureau of Immigration
