BARCELONA, 08 May 2025 -  Philippine Consul General Maria Theresa S.M. Lazaro and Casa Asia Director General José Pintor Aguilar met at Casa Asia’s headquarters in Barcelona to discuss concrete avenues for expanding collaboration between the Philippine Consulate General and Casa Asia.

Joined by officials from both institutions—including Director of Culture and Exhibitions Menene Gras, Head of Diversity and Interculturality Program Gaelle Patin Laloy, Policy, Society and Educational Programs Coordinator Yasmín Paricio Burtin, and Consulate officers—the meeting focused on identifying practical next steps for joint cultural and educational engagement.

During the visit, Casa Asia also donated several publications to the Consulate’s library, reinforcing the shared commitment to knowledge exchange and cross-cultural dialogue. Both parties agreed to begin coordination on proposed initiatives and to maintain regular communication in support of future programming.
